Welcome to the Hotel Olatua, your aparthotel on the Basque Coast, in Bidart! All year round, Maeva and her team welcome you with kindness and sympathy for all your stays, whether for tourism, relaxation, or work.

Once you step through the door, you will be transported to the cozy and warm world of our family-run aparthotel, on a human scale. The hotel has an elevator and a room for people with reduced mobility.

For your vehicle, we offer four spaces in our secure garage, one of which is equipped with an electric charging station (remember to contact the hotel to reserve the garage, especially in summer!)

Our strong point: breakfast

Every morning, between 8 and 10 am (or as early as 7:30 am on weekdays), we offer a generous breakfast buffet. You'll find a variety of sweet and savory items, all homemade, but no eggs or hot prepared dishes. We prioritize quality, organic, and locally sourced products to satisfy all your cravings. Adult breakfast: €14 per person / Children's breakfast (ages 4-11): €7 / Children's breakfast (under 3): free. In our charming aparthotel on the Basque Coast, everything has been designed for your complete relaxation.

Immerse yourself in the Basque Coast with the showcase

At our 3-star hotel on the Basque Coast, we want to offer you a taste of our region. You'll find a display case at reception selling foutas (beach towels), beach ashtrays, and regional products that you'll also find in your room or at breakfast, such as our OLATU fruit juices and LOREZTIA jams. We also lend you a pala (a Basque pelota court) to use at the nearby fronton (€10 deposit) and a fouta (beach towel) (€10 per item for rent or €25 for purchase).

The eco-responsible approach

We put all our energy into protecting and preserving our beautiful region. To do this, we have implemented various eco-responsible initiatives such as using local products, favoring short supply chains, water-saving initiatives, and many others.

We also work with "tree6clope," which collects cigarette butts for recycling.

A warm and attentive welcome

Maeva and Olivier welcome you to this small, human-sized establishment with 12 rooms. In the heart of the Basque Coast, in a typical village of the region, Bidart, enjoy a wonderful experience, with family, with friends, or alone.

Meet our team at the reception, open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.. We will guide and advise you in French, Spanish, and English.

Park your vehicles safely

By reservation, you can access a garage at our charming aparthotel on the Basque Coast. 24 hours of parking cost €18 per vehicle per night or €30 for parking with an electric vehicle charging point.

Our 3-star aparthotel also offers racks for parking your bicycles and storing your surfboards, free of charge.

The evening event for professionals

For business travelers, salespeople, and traveling sales representatives passing through Bidart on the Basque Coast, we offer a overnight stay package for €117 per person. The package includes breakfast, an overnight stay in one of our rooms, and an evening meal at a partner restaurant approximately 50 meters away: Auberge Koskenia and Pizzeria Bidartissimo.

The overnight stay package is available from Monday to Thursday, from October to April. (excluding school holidays, long weekends, and public holidays). Contact us for more information.

The little extras

We are pet-friendly, pets are accepted with a supplement of €15 per night per pet.
Free Wi-Fi is available.
Our 3-star aparthotel has an elevator, and one of our Triple Rooms is suitable for people with reduced mobility.
In our apartments, sheets, towels, and welcome products are provided, as is a welcome kit: 1 tea towel, 1 roll of toilet paper (remember to bring enough for the duration of your stay), 2 dishwasher dispensers, 1 dose of laundry powder, 1 sponge, 1 dish soap, 1 Kitchen degreaser and 1 floor cleaner.
A baby cot can be installed in your room/apartment for a fee of €10 per night upon request.
Coffee and Go: €1.50 for a takeaway coffee for workers or morning athletes, upon request at reception the day before.
